The Water Utility is dedicated to planning for future growth and providing current and future customers with safe, reliable water and sewer services in an efficient and responsible manner at a cost-effective rate with exceptional customer service.
The City has prioritized making strategic investments in our water and sewer infrastructure to address the needs of our aging infrastructure and our expanding city. The Water Utility continuously evaluates the water and sewer system for necessary repairs, replacements and corrections to minimize unplanned interruptions due to failures in the system. Additionally, the Water Utility is constantly evolving to meet the needs of projected new development.
The projects detailed in the Water Utility's Capital Improvement Plan are expected to meet the needs identified through system maintenance evaluations and the needs associated with projected new development. These imperative capital improvement projects are funded directly by rate charges and fees.
