The City of Lee’s Summit is holding a snow dry run from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24, to allow crews to prepare for the upcoming 2023-2024 winter weather season. A section of SW Murray Road from SW 3rd Street to SW Longview Road is set to close to through traffic on Tuesday, Oct. 3, and will remain closed for approximately thirty days, weather permitting. There will be a hard closure of SW Murray Road from SW 3rd Street to SW 5th Street. The detour route for this closure is SW Pryor Road, SW Longview Road and SW Ward Road.
