The funds awarded to Summit Art will be utilized to create more opportunities to showcase artists’ skills with gatherings, exhibitions, and continuing their programs such as the Summit Art Plein Art Festival, Paint Out, and the many workshops provided throughout the year.

Summit Theater Group was initially a small group of local performance artists who wanted to bring back the art to their community. Through the impressive work that was done Summit Theater Group is a notable arts organization for the City of Lee's Summit and that is showcased throughout their community efforts, programs, courses and shows.
