Mass Vaccination Event May 5-6 in Lee’s Summit

The City of Lee’s Summit, in collaboration with the state of Missouri, is hosting a drive-thru mass vaccination event on May 5 and May 6 at the Legacy Park Soccer Venue, 1501 NE Legacy Park Drive. The vaccination event will be held from noon to 8 p.m. on both days.

Individuals who received their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine during the City’s initial mass vaccination event on April 14 and April 15 will receive their second dose. Those wishing to receive their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine will also be accepted, but will be responsible for scheduling a separate appointment to receive their second dose.

All Missourians over the age of 16 are eligible to register for an appointment. For those interested in scheduling their first dose, registration is strongly recommended using the Missouri COVID-19 Vaccine Navigator or by calling 877-435-8411. After registering, individuals will receive an email to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins will also be accepted.

The event is being done in coordination with the Jackson County Health Department, Lee’s Summit Medical Center, Saint Luke’s East Hospital, Lee’s Summit R-7 School District and John Knox Village. For information, visit cityofLS.net/ls-vaccine-event.
