Portion of Southeast Green Street to Close Dec. 21

Portion of Southeast Green Street to Close Dec. 21

***UPDATE*** This closure will be extended until 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 24, to allow sufficient time for a concrete patch to cure before being opened to traffic.

Southeast Green Street will be closed to through traffic between Southeast Fifth Street and Southeast Fourth Street from 8 a.m. on Dec. 21 until 5 p.m. on Dec. 23. The closure is necessary for stormwater pipe installation.

The detour route is Southeast Fifth Street, to Southeast Douglas Street, to Southeast Fourth Street.

The Lee’s Summit Police Department has launched a co-responder pilot program in partnership with ReDiscover to provide additional assistance and resources to officers responding to calls with a behavioral health component.
