Section of NW Main Street Set to Close Monday, June 22

Section of NW Main Street Set to Close Monday, June 22

A section of NW Main Street is set to close on Monday, June 22, for approximately three weeks.  The closure is just north of the Forest Avenue intersection. The detour route includes Orchard, Douglas, and Maple streets. Forest Avenue also will be closed to through traffic between Central and Douglas streets.

The work is necessary for completion of stormwater infrastructure installation as part of the Olive and Orchard Streets Road and Stormwater Improvements project. The contractor will reopen NW Main Street as soon as work in the street is complete; however, Forest Avenue will remain closed to through traffic for the entire three weeks.

All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.
