Announcing Red Hawk Park!

Announcing Red Hawk Park!

We are pleased to announce the official name of the upcoming new park within the Lee's Summit Parks and Recreation system: Red Hawk Park. This park will be situated west of Pryor Road and south of SW Scherer Road. We invite you to view the current progress of this exciting development.

Plans for this park include:

Phase I

  • Playground
  • Shelter
  • Parking
  • Multi-Sport Court
  • Walking Trails

Phase II improvements in the regional park, as shown on the 2023 plan, tentatively include (3-5 year plan)

  • Disc Golf Course
  • Trails
  • Dog Park
