Lee’s Summit Mayor William A. Baird will deliver the State of the City address on Sept. 10 at The Aspen Room at the Stanley in downtown Lee’s Summit, 308 SE Douglas St. The Lee’s Summit Chamber of Commerce is hosting the luncheon. In the City of Lee’s Summit, residents with a fireworks permit may discharge approved fireworks on July 3 from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.; July 4 from 10 a.m. to midnight; and July 5 from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. within city limits.
