Updated I-Codes and Electrical Code

Updated I-Codes and Electrical Code

The City has adopted the 2024 I-Codes and the 2023 National Electrical Code. The codes will become effective October 1, 2026.   

Projects submitted prior to October 1 will be reviewed and permitted under currently enforced 2018 I-Codes and the 2017 National Electrical Code. 

Projects submitted on or after October 1 will be reviewed and permitted under the 2024 I-Codes and 2023 National Electrical Code.
