Portions of the NW Chipman and NW Pryor roads intersection are set to close nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning Monday, Oct. 2, and will take place for approximately two to three weeks, weather permitting. Traffic should follow the posted detour which includes NW Pryor Road, NW Lowenstein Drive, NW Black Twig Lane, and NW Chipman Road. A section of SW Murray Road from SW 3rd Street to SW Longview Road is set to close to through traffic on Tuesday, Oct. 3, and will remain closed for approximately thirty days, weather permitting. There will be a hard closure of SW Murray Road from SW 3rd Street to SW 5th Street. The detour route for this closure is SW Pryor Road, SW Longview Road and SW Ward Road.

The City of Lee’s Summit announced that work on the Colbern Road Improvements Project begins Sept. 5. The project will improve the safety and flow of traffic on Northwest Colbern Road between Northeast Douglas Street and Missouri Route 350 and will require that section of road to be closed to through traffic until spring 2025.
