Pryor Road Project Update – Section of Pryor Road Now Open

Pryor Road Project Update – Section of Pryor Road Now Open

The section of Pryor Road between Eagle View Drive and Scherer Road is now open. There is one lane of traffic open in each direction and lanes will be delineated with channelizers while construction continues. The Eagle View Drive intersection will be controlled by stop signs.  

The section of Pryor Road between Eagle Creek Drive and Eagle View Drive will remain closed for at least several more weeks. The detour route for Pryor Road remains Hook Road, Ward Road, and Longview Road while construction continues.

Improvements to the Pryor and Hook intersection are expected to begin later this summer. The overall project is anticipated to be completed in summer 2027.

The closure of SE Second Street has been extended to SE Green Street. The section of SE 2nd Street from SE Green to SE Eastridge streets is now expected to remain closed through mid-May. Parking on West Side of SE Green Street Also Set to Close

The plaza area in front of City Hall at 220 SE Green Street is set to close on Monday, April 1, for construction as part of the Downtown Market Plaza project. A section of NE Hagan Road at NE Maguire Boulevard is set to close today, and will remain closed for approximately one week. The closure is necessary for sanitary sewer work. The detour route includes NE Jones Industrial Drive and NE Independence Avenue.

This work is being completed by a private contractor and is development related. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.
