Pryor Road Project Update – Section of Pryor Road Now Open

The section of Pryor Road between Eagle View Drive and Scherer Road is now open. There is one lane of traffic open in each direction and lanes will be delineated with channelizers while construction continues. The Eagle View Drive intersection will be controlled by stop signs.  

The section of Pryor Road between Eagle Creek Drive and Eagle View Drive will remain closed for at least several more weeks. The detour route for Pryor Road remains Hook Road, Ward Road, and Longview Road while construction continues.

Improvements to the Pryor and Hook intersection are expected to begin later this summer. The overall project is anticipated to be completed in summer 2027.

City Crews Scheduled to Treat Streets as Needed Feb. 27-28

The City's crews are scheduled to treat streets with salt as needed late Tuesday, Feb. 27, and overnight into early Wednesday, Feb. 28, as sleet and snow is forecast for the area. Update: the section of SW Arboridge Drive north of M150 Hwy will remain closed through approximately mid-March. A section of SW Arboridge Drive north of M150 Hwy is closed for approximately two weeks.
