Update: This closure has been extended by one week and will open by 5 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025.

A section of Southwest Second Street between Southwest Noel and Market streets is set to close on Monday, Feb. 3, for one week. The closure is necessary for rehabilitation to failing sanitary sewer manholes located in the street. The detour route includes Southwest Noel Street, Southwest Third Street, and Southwest Market Street.

The City’s crews have been working for several days to dig out after one of the largest snow storms on record. Crews were completing residential streets this morning, and are working to widen lanes and turn lanes on primary and secondary streets.
