Portion of Southeast Green Street to Close Dec. 21

Portion of Southeast Green Street to Close Dec. 21

***UPDATE*** This closure will be extended until 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 24, to allow sufficient time for a concrete patch to cure before being opened to traffic.

Southeast Green Street will be closed to through traffic between Southeast Fifth Street and Southeast Fourth Street from 8 a.m. on Dec. 21 until 5 p.m. on Dec. 23. The closure is necessary for stormwater pipe installation.

The detour route is Southeast Fifth Street, to Southeast Douglas Street, to Southeast Fourth Street.

Temporary Closure of Northbound SW Ward Road between SW Scherer Road and SW Winthrop Drive Due to Signal Damage

On Friday, Aug. 18, the traffic signal at SW Ward Road and SW Scherer Road was severely damaged. Northbound SW Ward Road has been temporarily closed between SW Scherer Road and SW Winthrop Drive. The northbound closure will remain in place until the site is safely secured and either temporary restoration of the traffic signal or temporary two-way stop control can be established.

Jefferson Street Open to Two-Way Traffic

Jefferson Street from Stuart Road to Persels Road is now open to two-way traffic. Final work such as sidewalk, ADA ramps, restoration and punch list items will continue. Although open, this section of roadway will remain a work zone and motorists and pedestrians are encouraged to continue to use caution. All work on the project is expected to be complete by Sept. 3, 2017, weather permitting.

A lane closure switch for Todd George Parkway from Colbern Road to Woods Chapel Road is set to begin Thursday, July 20. The northbound lane of Todd George Parkway will re-open, while the southbound lane will temporarily close for approximately six weeks, weather permitting. Weekend Closure of the Westbound Lane of NW Chipman Road Bridge Begins July 8

The westbound lane of the NW Chipman Road Bridge between NW Commerce Drive and NW Donovan Road is set to close at 5 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, and will remain closed until 5 a.m. on Monday, July 10, weather permitting. The closure is necessary for additional bridge repairs.
