Section of SE Douglas Street Set to Close for Pavement Repairs
A contractor is set to close the southbound section of SE Douglas Street between SE 1st and SE 2nd streets daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for pavement repairs. Work is permitted from Wednesday, June 17, through Friday, July 10; however, currently the contractor expects to begin mid-week the week of June 22. The detour route is SE 1st Street, SE Main Street, and SE 2nd Street.
The work is necessary after a water main break and water maintenance work. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.
