Section of NE Independence Avenue Set to Close Tuesday, April 28

A section of NE Independence Avenue between NE Orchard Street and SE 2nd Street is set to close on Tuesday, April 28, for approximately two days for pavement restoration. The hard closure is between SE 2nd Street and 209 NE Independence Ave. The detour route includes NE Orchard Street, NE Grand Avenue, and SE 2nd Street.

This work is part of the West Prairie Lee Sewer Capacity Study, Upgrade and Construction project, which consists of improvements to the West Prairie Lee Interceptor to address existing and future sewer capacity constraints.

All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.
