Daily Closures of Section of Southeast Douglas Street Began Wednesday, Dec. 11

Update 2/25/25: Construction has resumed between 5th and 6th Streets. Daily closures will occur for approximately two weeks.

Daily Closures of Section of Southeast Douglas Street Began Wednesday, Dec. 11

Daily closures for a section of Southeast Douglas Street between Southeast Sixth and Seventh streets began Wednesday, Dec. 11, and will last for approximately two to three weeks. This section will close daily beginning at 7 a.m. and will reopen by 5:30 p.m.

The daily closures are necessary for water main replacement. The detour route includes Southeast Seventh Street, Southeast Green Street, and Southeast Sixth Street. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.
