Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation Installs Touchless Options in Facilities and Parks
Lee’s Summit Parks and Recreation (LSPR) is glad to announce the installation of sliding automatic doors, touchless flushers and drinking fountains, and bottle fillers at all community centers.
“LSPR has implemented several protocols to help keep our community safe while participating at parks, recreation facilities and programs,” Joe Snook, LSPR Administrator, said. “The latest improvements will assist in minimizing touch points on frequently touched surfaces.”
With assistance from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, also known as the CARES Act, provided by the U.S. government, patrons have fewer touch points when visiting LSPR’s community centers and hydrating during their workouts. All improvements will be made by the end of January 2021.
