City Crews Preparing for Possible Blizzard Conditions Overnight

The City's crews are scheduled to report at 10 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, March 4, to treat primary and secondary streets. Blizzard conditions are possible overnight due to the forecast for heavy snow and high winds. Snow accumulations should remain low as pavement temperatures are expected to remain above freezing until approximately 3 a.m., but streets will become slick. Drivers should use caution especially on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses. Pavement temperatures are expected to rise above freezing around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, creating slushy conditions.

The City will continue to monitor conditions and will update its response as necessary.
