Streets were slushy overnight but froze quickly earlier this morning. Crews will move into secondary streets if necessary, and will continue treating streets until pavement temperatures rise above freezing and melting occurs. Drivers should use caution especially on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses. The City will continue to monitor conditions and will update its response as necessary. Section of Southeast Browning Street Set to Close Wednesday, March 11 Section of Southeast Browning Street Set to Close Wednesday, March 11 A section of Southeast Browning Street between Southeast Eighth Street and Southeast Blue Parkway is set to close on Wednesday, March 11, until Monday, March 16. The work is necessary for concrete work as part of the Route 291 north and U.S. 50 Interchange project. The detour route includes Southeast Douglas Street, Southeast Seventh Street, Southeast Green Street, and Southeast Eighth Street.
