Section of Southeast Browning Street Set to Close Wednesday, Oct. 22 (Postponed)

Update 10/21/25: The Southeast Browning Street closure has been postponed and we do not currently have an exact date for the closure. Southeast Douglas Street north of Southeast Blue Parkway will now reopen on Thursday, Oct. 23.

A section of Southeast Browning Street between Southeast Eighth Street and Southeast Blue Parkway is set to close on Wednesday, Oct. 22, for approximately three days. The work is necessary for water line work as part of the Route 291 north and U.S. 50 Interchange project. Also on Wednesday, Oct. 22, Southeast Douglas Street north of Southeast Blue Parkway will reopen but Southeast Ninth Street will remain closed.
