Section of Southeast Browning Street Set to Close Thursday, Oct. 23 (postponed from Oct. 22)

A section of Southeast Browning Street between Southeast Eighth Street and Southeast Blue Parkway was set to close on Thursday, Oct. 23 (postponed from Oct. 22), through Friday, Nov. 21 (extended from Nov. 7). The work is necessary for water line work as part of the Route 291 north and U.S. 50 Interchange project. Also on Thursday, Oct. 23 (postponed from Oct. 22), Southeast Douglas Street north of Southeast Blue Parkway will reopen but Southeast Ninth Street will remain closed.

The new roundabout on Blue Parkway at Ward Road is set to open to eastbound and westbound traffic by the end of the day today, Friday, July 10.

Ward Road will remain closed to through traffic between Blue Parkway and O’Brien Road.

A section of Northeast Johnson Street between NE Maple Street and NE Short Street is set to close to through traffic 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, for approximately one week. The detour route includes Northeast Short Street, Northeast Green Street, and Northeast Maple Street.
