City Crews Plowing and Treating Residential Streets Jan. 10-11
The City’s crews began plowing and treating residential streets overnight and will continue throughout the day today, Wed., Jan. 10, and overnight into tomorrow, Thurs., Jan. 11. Some streets will continue to be packed with snow even after plowing and treating. Pavement temperatures and sunshine should help with additional melting throughout the day today; however, overnight and into Thursday refreezing may occur and drivers should continue to use caution.

The City's crews are plowing and treating streets today, Tuesday, Jan. 9. Accumulating snow ended around noon today. Primary streets are nearly complete and crews are working in secondary streets. With more than six inches of snow and gusty winds, it will take crews 40-48 hours to plow and treat all streets in the City. Crews are expected to continue working until Thursday, Jan. 11.

The City’s crews are pre-treating streets due to a winter storm that began today, Monday, Jan. 8, and is expected to continue overnight into tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 9. A mix of rain and snow is expected throughout the day today, and pavement temperatures should remain above freezing until 10 p.m. tonight; however, heavy snow may overwhelm pavements at times and cause slushy conditions. City Crews Prepared for Snow This Weekend
The City’s crews prepared trucks and equipment due to light snow forecast for tonight, Friday, Jan. 5, and tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 6. Pavement temperatures are expected to remain at or above freezing which should melt any snow on pavements; however, snow may become heavy at times and could overwhelm pavements. The City will continue to monitor the weather and will call out crews as needed for response.

Section of NW Quarry Park Road Closed
A section of NW Quarry Park Road west of NW Pryor Road is closed to through traffic for an emergency road repair. The duration of the closure is unknown at this time. Access for emergency vehicles and residents will be provided on NW Valley Garden Drive/Clifford Road and Bannister Road.
