Intersection of Southwest Scherer and Southwest Pryor Roads Set to Close Wednesday, Oct. 22

The intersection of Southwest Scherer and Southwest Pryor Roads is set to close on Wednesday, October 22, for approximately forty-five days. The closure is necessary for intersection reconstruction.

Southwest Scherer Road will be closed to thru traffic between Southwest Sampson Road and Southwest Ward Road. The detour route includes Southwest Sampson Road, Southwest Longview Road, and Southwest Ward Road. Southwest Pryor Road will be closed between Southwest Longview Road and to just north of Southwest Eagle View Drive. The detour route includes Southwest Longview Road, Southwest Ward Road, and Southwest Hook Road. 

Sections of Southwest Pryor Road originally closed on June 30. After the Southwest Scherer and Pryor roads intersection reconstruction is completed, Southwest Scherer Road will reopen to thru traffic; however, sections of Southwest Pryor Road between Southwest Longview and Southwest Scherer roads and between Southwest Scherer and Southwest Hook will remain closed until Spring 2026.
