City Crews Preparing for Snow Dec. 26-27

The City has a small crew scheduled to report at 2 a.m. Wed., Dec. 27, to monitor conditions and treat streets with salt as needed due to the potential for snow. Temperatures overnight will hover around freezing which may cause slick conditions. Drivers should use caution during the Wednesday morning commute, especially on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses.

Snow is also expected today, Tues., Dec. 26, and may be heavy at times; however, pavement temperatures above freezing should limit accumulations. The City will continue to monitor the weather forecast and will update its response as needed.
