The work is necessary for water line work as part of the Route 291 north and U.S. 50 Interchange project. Also on Thursday, Oct. 23 (postponed from Oct. 22), Southeast Douglas Street north of Southeast Blue Parkway will reopen but Southeast Ninth Street will remain closed.
