Section of NW O’Brien Road Set to Close Sept. 26

Update: This section of NW O'Brien Road is now open.

Update: This section of NW O'Brien Road will remain closed until Saturday, Oct. 22, weather permitting.

A section of NW O’Brien Road from NW Village Drive to NW Transition is set to close on Monday, Sept. 26, and will remain closed until Oct. 17, weather permitting. This closure is pending the re-opening of NW Chipman Road under the U.S. Route 50 bridges. The work is necessary to perform water main replacement work as part of the FY22 Water Main Rehabilitation project.

The detour route is NW Ward Road, NW Chipman Road, and NW Murray Road.

The FY22 Water Main Rehabilitation project helps with continued efforts to maintain and strengthen the water distribution system. For more information about the work or the project, contact the City’s Public Works Department at publicworks@cityofls.net or 816-969-1800.
