Night Work Scheduled July 19-24 for Pavement Management Programs

The City’s mill and overlay and surface seal programs both have night work scheduled July 19-24, to minimize disruptions to traffic on major roads. Night work will generally take place beginning at 8 p.m. at night and will continue overnight until 7 a.m. the next morning, from Sunday night, July 19, through Friday morning, July 24. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.

Mill and overlay work will take place on NW Pryor Road between NW Chipman Road and NW Summit Woods Crossing, on NW Chipman Road between NW Pryor Road and NW Jacobs Drive, and on NE Pavestone Drive. Surface Seal will take place on NE Douglas/NW Lee’s Summit Road between NW Colbern Road and City limits, on NW Murray Road between NW Longview Road and NW Chipman Road, on SW 3rd Street between SW View High Drive and SW Pryor Road, and on Langsford Road between M-291 Highway and Todd George Parkway on Tuesday, July 21, and overnight into Wednesday, July 22 (rescheduled from July 20-21).

These roads will not be fully closed, but drivers may experience delays.
