Section of Southeast Fourth Street Set to Close Monday, Oct. 27 (postponed from Oct. 23)

Update: Southeast Fourth Street is open to traffic as of 11/14/25.

A section of Southeast Fourth Street between Southeast Timbercreek Lane and Southeast Todd George Parkway is set to close on Monday, Oct. 27, until Monday, Nov. 17 (postponed and extended due to weather and utility conflicts from Monday, Oct. 23, through Monday, Nov. 3). The detour route includes Southeast Timbercreek Lane, Southeast Winburn Trail, and Southeast Todd George Parkway.

The detour route includes Southeast Timbercreek Lane, Southeast Winburn Trail, and Southeast Todd George Parkway. The closure is necessary for the installation of new stormwater infrastructure and the work is part of the EFLB Area 3 and Area 4 Stormwater Project.

All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.

The City’s crews plowed and treated streets throughout the day today, Monday, Dec. 1, and will continue tonight and overnight into tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec. 2. Crews plowed and treated primary streets today, and crews will continue working to complete secondary streets and then will move into residential streets. It can take crews 24-48 hours to plow and treat all streets after accumulating snow has ended.
