City Seeking Community Input During Strategic Planning Process
The City of Lee’s Summit is encouraging residents to play an integral role in developing a new community-wide strategic plan by attending one of two identical Community Conversations. The first Community Conversation will be held Feb. 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Pavilion at John Knox Village, 520 NW Murray Rd. The City of Lee’s Summit announced Rick Poeschl will retire as fire chief effective March 16, 2019 following more than 30 years as a dedicated public servant committed to the safety and health of our community.
