Section of SE Second Street Set to Close March 4

Section of SE Second Street Set to Close March 4

A section of SE Second Street from SE Johnson Street to SE Eastridge Street is set to close on Monday, March 4, and will remain closed until approximately the end of April. The detour route includes SE Grand Avenue, SE Third Street and SE Green Street. 

There will also be intermittent closures of SE Eastridge at SE Second Street while sanitary sewer work takes place. 

The closures are necessary for stormwater and sanitary sewer work for the Downtown Market Plaza project.

A lane shift on SE Second Street will start on Feb. 28 and last until the full closure. During that timeframe, SE Johnson Street north of SE Second Street will be accessed via Wilson Street.
