City Crews Plowing Streets Today, Sunday, Jan. 5

The City’s crews are plowing primary streets today, Sunday, Jan. 5. Snowfall rates are high and streets are covered quickly after snow and ice is bladed off, and high winds are creating blizzard conditions. Any travel will be hazardous and drivers are urged to stay home if possible. Crews will likely need to continue working on primary streets into early Monday morning before they are able to start in secondary and residential streets. Snow is expected to continue until midnight tonight, and it may take more than 48 hours to plow and treat all streets once the storm and high winds end.

The City will continue to monitor the weather forecast and update its response as necessary.
