Quarry Park Inclement Weather Route Friday, Jan. 23

The City of Lee’s Summit has established an inclement winter weather route through the Clarkson Construction property north of Northwest Quarry Park Road.  Due to the forecasted snow Saturday, City’s crews will open the inclement winter weather route through the Clarkson Construction property and close the access to Noland Road Friday 1/23/26 .  The switch over will occur between 9 - 10 a.m. The Inclement winter weather route is expected to be open at least a week due to the amount of snowfall and frigid temperatures. An update will be provided when it is closed. 

Upon entering the inclement winter weather route, please follow the orange cones through the temporary access. Public Works will plow and or treat the access as necessary.

Crews Plowing and Treating Residential Streets Today, Friday, Feb. 18

The City’s crews completed plowing and treating primary and secondary streets overnight, and are approximately 10% complete with residential streets as of this morning, Friday, Feb. 18. Crews will continue plowing and treating residential streets today, and overnight into Saturday, Feb. 19, if necessary. City Crews Set to Continue Plowing and Treating Streets Tonight and Overnight into Friday, Feb. 18

The City’s crews have been plowing and treating streets today, Thursday, Feb. 17, and will continue tonight and overnight into Friday, Feb. 18. Crews are nearly complete with primary streets, and will be moving into secondary streets soon. Crews expect to begin residential streets by 7 a.m. Friday, and will continue plowing and treating until completed. Sun and warming temperatures are expected Friday and into the weekend.
