Section of Northeast Rice Road Set to Close Daily Beginning Tuesday, April 29

A section of Northeast Rice Road between Northeast Colbern Road and Northeast Mulberry Street is set to close daily beginning Tuesday, April 29, and will last through the end of the week. The closure is necessary for stormwater line repairs across the street. Steel plates will be used so the street can be open when the crew is not onsite. Drivers should use Northeast Colbern Road for access to Northeast Rice Road north of the closure area. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.

City Crews Treating Residential Streets this Afternoon

The City’s crews are treating residential streets with salt this afternoon. Higher pavement temperatures have helped to melt most of the snow that has fallen on streets so far.
