Section of Northwest Falk Drive Closed

Section of Northwest Falk Drive Closed

A section of Northwest Falk Drive between Northwest Village Drive and Northwest Ward Road closed today, Tuesday, November, 19, and will remain closed until the afternoon on Friday, November 22. The closure is necessary for the replacement of rusted corrugated metal storm pipe that is causing sinkholes in the road. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change. City Crews Set to Continue Plowing and Treating Residential Streets Tonight and Overnight into Saturday, Feb. 19

The City’s crews have been plowing and treating residential streets throughout the day today, Friday, Feb. 18, and will continue overnight into Saturday, Feb. 19. As of 6 p.m. Friday, crews were 56% complete with residential streets. Lee’s Summit’s official snow total from the storm was 7.5 inches, which means it can take crews up to 40 hours after the snow stopped falling to plow and treat all streets in the city.
