Section of Southeast Shenandoah Drive Set to Close Monday, Sept. 23

A section of Southeast Shenandoah Drive from Southeast Cumberland Drive to Southeast Ashton Drive is set to close on Monday, Sept. 23, for approximately one week. The detour route includes Southeast Cumberland Drive, Southeast Blue Parkway, and Southeast Battery Drive.

The closure is necessary for the installation of sanitary sewer across Southeast Shenandoah Drive as part of the South Prairie Lee Interceptor Sewer Upgrades project. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.

The City’s crews have been plowing and treating residential streets throughout the day today, Friday, Feb. 18, and will continue overnight into Saturday, Feb. 19.
