Section of SW McClendon Drive Set to Close April 8

Section of SW McClendon Drive Set to Close April 8

A section of SW McClendon Drive between SW 1st Street and SW Peggy Circle is set to close on Monday, April 8, and will remain closed for approximately three months. The work is necessary for sanitary sewer work as part of the McClendon Ditch Sewer Improvements project.

The detour route includes SW 1st Street, SW McClendon Drive, and SW 3rd Street. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.

City Crews Treating Residential Streets this Afternoon

The City’s crews are treating residential streets with salt this afternoon. Higher pavement temperatures have helped to melt most of the snow that has fallen on streets so far.
