City Crews Treating Streets Today, Monday, Jan. 22

The City’s crews are treating streets today, Monday, Jan. 22, after freezing rain impacted the Lee’s Summit area. Additional crews were called in early this morning, and primary streets are completed. Crews are currently working in secondary streets. Streets are slick and drivers should use caution. Pavement temperatures are expected to warm above freezing after 10 a.m.

The City’s crews have been plowing and treating residential streets throughout the day today, Friday, Feb. 18, and will continue overnight into Saturday, Feb. 19. The City’s crews completed plowing and treating primary and secondary streets overnight, and are approximately 10% complete with residential streets as of this morning, Friday, Feb. 18. Crews will continue plowing and treating residential streets today, and overnight into Saturday, Feb. 19, if necessary.
