Southeast Second Street is set to reopen to through traffic by the end of the day on Friday, May 24, followed by the closure of a section of Southeast Third Street between Southeast Douglas and Southeast Johnson streets on Tuesday, May 28, for approximately six weeks. The closure is necessary for infrastructure work associated with the Downtown Market Plaza project. The detour route will be Southeast Grand Avenue, Southeast Second Street, and Southeast Douglas Street.

The Southeast Green Street entrance to the City Hall parking lot and garage will remain closed but is expected to reopen in time for the Downtown Days event scheduled for the second weekend in June.
