Section of Southeast Seventh Terrace Set to Close Monday, March 23

A section of Southeast Seventh Terrace between Route 291 North and Southeast Vista Drive is set to close to through traffic on Monday, March 23, until approximately early June (extended from early April). The hard closure is between approximately 906 and 922 SE 7th Ter. This closure is for work related to the Route 291 North and 50 Highway Interchange Improvements project. The detour route includes Route 291, Southeast Blue Parkway, and Southeast Vista Drive.

All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.

Per MoDOT, beginning April 14 there also will be a head-to head traffic configuration on Route 291 from Blue Parkway to SE Bayberry for utility work. This work may restrict access to SE 7th Terrace from Route 291.

The City’s crews are preparing for snow on Sat., Jan. 21, and overnight into Sun., Jan. 22.
