Section of Northeast Grand Avenue Closed

Section of Northeast Grand Avenue Closed

A section of Northeast Grand Avenue between Northeast Ash and Southeast Second streets is closed, and will remain closed for approximately three weeks. The hard closure is between Southeast Lee Haven Drive and Wilson Street.

Northeast Independence Avenue remains closed, and the detour route for that closure has moved to Southeast Green Street. The Northeast Grand Avenue and Northeast Independence Avenue closures will overlap for approximately one week.

The closures are necessary for sewer work associated with the West Prairie Lee Sewer Capacity Study, Upgrade and Construction project. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.
