Section of Eastbound Southwest Second Street Set to Close Monday, May 19

A section of eastbound Southwest Second Street between Southwest Jefferson and Southwest Market streets is set to close on Monday, May 19, and will remain closed for approximately two weeks, weather permitting. Westbound Southwest Second Street will remain open.

The closure is necessary for rehabilitation to failing sanitary sewer manholes located in the street. The detour route includes Southwest Jefferson Street, Southwest Third Street, and Southwest Market Street.

City Crews Set to Continue Plowing and Treating Streets Tonight and Overnight into Friday, Feb. 18

The City’s crews have been plowing and treating streets today, Thursday, Feb. 17, and will continue tonight and overnight into Friday, Feb. 18. Crews are nearly complete with primary streets, and will be moving into secondary streets soon.
