The City of Lee’s Summit will host a public hearing to discuss the right-of-way stage design for Pryor Road from Longview Road to Hook Road on July 20 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Fire Station No. 7, 2150 SW Scherer Rd.

Closures are expected daily for sections of SW 2nd Street from SW Lakeview Boulevard to SW Blue Parkway until approximately July 1, weather permitting. A section of NW Main Street from NW Chipman Road to NW Commerce Drive is set to close to southbound traffic beginning Monday, March 28, weather permitting, and will be open for northbound traffic only until August 2022. This change in traffic is to facilitate the reconstruction of NW Main Street with a new concrete curb and gutter road and sidewalks. The public parking lot at 121 SE 3rd St. in downtown Lee’s Summit, commonly referred to as the Arnold Hall parking lot, is set to close on Monday, March 21, weather permitting, and is expected to remain closed until June. The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) plans to replace the U.S. 50 bridges over Chipman Road in Lee's Summit beginning March 21. These bridges have reached the end of their service life and must be replaced. In addition to the new bridges, sidewalks will be provided on both sides of Chipman Road through the interchange providing new critical connections for pedestrians. All work is weather permitting.
