Update: Closure Postponed

Section of NW O'Brien Road Set for Daily Closures Beginning Sept. 13

Update: Closure Postponed

Update: This closure is postponed until Chipman Road is opened at U.S. Route 50. Until Chipman Road is open in that location, a work zone is set to be in place on NW O’Brien Road west of NW Ward Road that allows two-way traffic and includes a lane shift. The section of NW O’Brien Road west of NW Ward Road is set to close daily once Chipman Road is open at U.S. Route 50. More details to follow.

A section of NW O’Brien Road west of NW Ward Road is set to close daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning Tuesday, Sept. 13, until Oct. 7, weather permitting. These daily closures are necessary to perform water main replacement work as part of the FY22 Water Main Rehabilitation project.

The detour route is NW Ward Road, NW Blue Parkway, and NW Transition.

The FY22 Water Main Rehabilitation project helps with continued efforts to maintain and strengthen the water distribution system. For more information about the work or the project, contact the City’s Public Works Department at publicworks@cityofls.net or 816-969-1800.
