Section of Northeast Hagan Road Set to Close June 10

Update: As of 7/1/24, this section of Northeast Hagan Road is now open.

A section of Northeast Hagan Road at Northeast Maguire Boulevard is set to close on Monday, June 10, for approximately three weeks. Northeast Maguire Boulevard is also closed to through traffic between Northeast Independence Avenue and Northeast Hagan Road. The closures are necessary for water main work associated with the Hangar 2 project at the Lee’s Summit Municipal Airport. The detour routes include Northeast Jones Industrial Drive and Northeast Independence Avenue.

The Hangar 2 project broke ground in April, and includes infrastructure development and a 50,000 square foot state-of-the-art hangar with 30,000 square feet dedicated to corporate aircraft storage.
