Section of NE Short Street Set to Close Monday, April 22

Section of NE Short Street Set to Close Monday, April 22

A section of NE Short Street between NE Grand Avenue and NE Howard Avenue/NE Short Street is set to close on Monday, April 22, for approximately two weeks. The detour route includes NE Short Street, NE Ash Street, and NE Grand Avenue.

The closure is necessary for stormwater improvements in the area. NE Ash Street had previously closed for this project and is now back open to traffic; however, an additional closure in the future will be necessary to finish curb and asphalt paving.

This project is part of stormwater improvements funded by the 2017 Capital Improvement Sales Tax. For more information, contact the Public Works Department at 816-969-1800 or publicworks@cityofls.net.
