The City of Lee’s Summit is hosting a public meeting to discuss the proposed design and infrastructure improvements to the Pryor Road corridor from Hook Road to M-150 Highway from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, at Summit Lakes Middle School, 3500 SW Windemere Dr. Lee's Summit, Mo. 64082.

The intersection of NW Ward and NW O’Brien roads is set to close on Monday, Aug. 24 (rescheduled from Aug. 17), for approximately two months. NW Ward Road will be closed to through traffic between NW Blue Parkway and NW Chipman Road. NW O’Brien Road will be closed to through traffic between Executive Way and NW Donovan Road.

The alley between SE 2^nd and SE 3^rd streets will close weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (updated from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) for installation of a gas main by a utility contractor. The closure is permitted from July 30 through October 16 (extended from Sept. 18 and Aug. 28).

The intersection of Hook and Pryor roads is set to close for ninety days beginning Wed., Aug. 12. The detour route for Hook Road includes Horridge Road, M-150 Highway, and Ward Road. The detour route for Pryor Road includes M-150 Highway, Ward Road and Longview Road.
