Monday, September 29, 2025 | Views: 11674 | Categories: Public Works News Northeast Douglas Street Closures Set to Begin Thursday, Oct. 2 Sections of Northeast Douglas Street between Northeast Elm Street and Northeast Forest Avenue are set to close in one block increments daily from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning Thursday, Oct. 2. Work is permitted for two weeks. The closures are necessary for a utility contractor to replace gas service and tie-in houses to the new gas main. Crews also need to pothole the street in order to spot utilities. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.
