Sunday, January 21, 2024 | Views: 8485 | Categories: Public Works News City Crew Scheduled to Treat Streets as Needed Early Monday, Jan. 22 The City has a crew scheduled to treat streets with salt as needed beginning at 3 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22, due to the forecast for freezing rain. Residual salt remains on streets from treatment the last two weeks; however, streets are still expected to get slick as the temperature falls and freezing rain starts. Drivers should use caution during the Monday morning commute especially on elevated surfaces such as bridges and overpasses. The City will continue to monitor the weather forecast and update its response as needed.
