Section of SW Murray Road Set to Close to Through Traffic on Oct. 3

A section of SW Murray Road from SW 3rd Street to SW Longview Road is set to close to through traffic on Tuesday, Oct. 3, and will remain closed for approximately thirty days, weather permitting. There will be a hard closure of SW Murray Road from SW 3rd Street to SW 5th Street. The detour route for this closure is SW Pryor Road, SW Longview Road and SW Ward Road. 

The closure is necessary for sanitary sewer work associated with the McClendon Ditch project, which will provide sanitary sewer upgrades to the interceptor within the Cedar Creek watershed that serves the internal core of the city. The improvements will increase the conveyance of the sewer to meet current and future needs. Ward Road Project Update - Intersection of NW Ward and NW O'Brien Roads Set to Close Monday, Aug. 24

The intersection of NW Ward and NW O’Brien roads is set to close on Monday, Aug. 24 (rescheduled from Aug. 17), for approximately two months. NW Ward Road will be closed to through traffic between NW Blue Parkway and NW Chipman Road. NW O’Brien Road will be closed to through traffic between Executive Way and NW Donovan Road.

The alley between SE 2nd and SE 3rd streets will close weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (updated from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) for installation of a gas main by a utility contractor. The closure is permitted from July 30 through October 16 (extended from Sept. 18 and Aug. 28).

NW Ward Lane is closed between NW Village Drive and NW Ward Road for concrete repair over a stormwater line. The hard closure is just east of NW Village Drive.
