Section of Northeast Rice Road Set to Close Wednesday, February 18

A section of Northeast Rice Road between Northeast Columbus Street and Northeast Langsford Road is set to close on Wednesday, February 18, for approximately three weeks (delayed from Monday, Feb, 9, and Monday, Feb. 16). The full closure will be next to the retention pond between 301 NE Rice Road and 401 NE Rice Road. The detour route includes Northeast Langsford Road, M291 Highway, and Northeast Columbus Street.

This sewer work is associated with the West Prairie Lee Sewer Capacity Study, Upgrade and Construction project. This project consists of improvements to the West Prairie Lee Interceptor to address existing and future sewer capacity constraints. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.

A section of Northwest Falk Drive between Northwest Village Drive and Northwest Ward Road closed today, Tuesday, November, 19, and will remain closed until the afternoon on Friday, November 22. The closure is necessary for the replacement of rusted corrugated metal storm pipe that is causing sinkholes in the road. All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change. A section of Southwest Georgetown Drive between Southwest Ward Road and Southwest Raintree Drive is set to close to thru traffic on Thursday, Nov. 7, and will remain closed for approximately one week.
